Objective: to be executive assistant to the President, to be accounts receivable coordinator, to be supplies coordinator for the head office and the stores, to be the training coordinator for the training center and to perform all other office administrative duties.
Executive Assistant
– organize events and travel arrangements
– managing the President email
– managing the Presidents calendar and appointments
– managing the Presidents credit card receipts
Accounts Receivable Coordinator
– creating & mailing invoices for training and marketing vendors
– follow up with vendors on unpaid invoices
– follow up with vendors on unprocessed credit notes
– preparing the bank deposit book
Supplies Coordinator
– manage the office supply cabinet and the stores supply room
– liaise with the stores regarding stores supplies requests
– order office and store supplies
– receive and distribute office and store supplies
(Some physical work will be required. Must be able to lift 50lb. Must be ok with stairs.)
Training Coordinator
– booking and preparation of company communication meetings and company trainings
– liaising with vendors to book dinner trainings, seminars, webinars, and tele-trainings
– maintain training calendar and communication with the stores team members
Office Administrator
– collect and distribute mail to/from stores
– assist the accounting team with weekly filing
– post credit card receipts into the accounting software
– sorting & counting coupons
– maintain kitchen and washroom supplies
– be liaison officer for the cleaners

• Part Time Kitchen Assistant •
Vita Health Fresh Market, Winnipeg’s leading health food retailer, is currently looking for a part-time Kitchen Assistant at our Westwood location located at #1-3500 Portage Ave.
Hours are Sunday to Thursday 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
Job Duties
- Preparing ingredients for the Kitchen Manager including washing, peeling, cutting and slicing ingredients
- Packing orders for different stores in an orderly fashion
- Storing prepared ingredients and performing kitchen inventory according to food safety standards
- Properly washing and drying all dishes, cooking instruments, and cutting boards
- Removing garbage at the end of every shift
- Sweeping and mopping floors when needed
Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude
- Basic food preparation skills
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to follow recipes from start to finish
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Able to understand the importance of personal health and hygiene within a commercial kitchen setting
- Ability to use kitchen equipment and appliances in a safe manner; these include chef knives, a 5 rack convection oven, food processors, dishwasher, induction burners, etc.
- Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work Sundays/Holidays and cover when another worker is sick
- Food Handler Certificate will be considered an asset
