Ham, Rice & Broccoli Gratin with L'Ancetre Cheese

Ingredients
- Diced ham: 375ml (1 ½ cups)
- Cooked rice: 1 liter (4 cups) or 500ml (2 cups uncooked)
- 1 broccoli, cut into small florets
- Light Alfredo sauce: 250ml (1 cup)
- Mild light Cheddar from Fromagerie L’Ancêtre, grated: 180ml (3/4 cup)
- Also needed: 1 chopped onion
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a large skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Cook the diced ham and onion for 3 to 4 minutes.
- In a large baking dish, mix the ham with the onion, cooked rice, broccoli, and Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Top with grated cheddar.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Remove the aluminum foil. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
