Support Technician
 Objective
- to manage all IT systems, networks, and hardware & software infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- provide excellent technical support to six retail locations and the corporate office
- manage internal ticketing systems
- maintain ecommerce and local delivery websites
- maintain electronic data interchange system
- keep the hardware assets listing up to date
- follow a maintenance schedule for all hardware and software
-Â manage all computer hardware and software upgrades
-Â endeavor to find efficiencies in current systems and recommend new technologies
-Â maintain and develop IT user manuals and training documentation

Requirements
- currently enrolled in or graduated from a recognized technology support program
- two years practical experience in computer hardware and software
-Â must have strong familiarity with PC hardware, software and peripherals
-Â must have experience in Microsoft products such as Windows 10 and Office 365
-Â experience with SharePoint and Power BI would be considered an asset
- Microsoft Power Platform Certification(s) would be considered an asset
-Â experience in SQL database would be considered an asset
- experience with TeamViewer would be considered an asset
- experience with Shopify or Amazon would be considered an asset
-Â some knowledge of Apple products would be an asset but is not essential
- some knowledge of Google Chrome would be an asset but is not essential
- some knowledge of Adobe products would be considered an asset
-Â experience with remotely accessing networks such as security cameras is beneficial
-Â knowledge of Shaw and MTS internet and phones hardware would be an asset
- knowledge of retail ERP systems would be considered an asset
- knowledge of EDI systems would be considered an asset
- retail experience preferred but not a requirement
- call center experiences an asset
- interest in our industry preferred but not a requirement

-Â must have the ability to show patience with team members with little or no IT skills
-Â strong analytical and long-term problem-solving skills
- ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines
- must be able to work as an individual and in a team
- must be able to work remotely and in office environment
- must be available for after-hours work emergencies
- must be able to schedule work after normal working hours as necessary
- ability to drive and have access to own vehicle (a mileage allowance is available)
