The Grocery Associate is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion.
Job Duties
- Handling and caring for produce
- Physical lifting and climbing
- Maintain backroom
- Keep work area clean and presentable
- Process orders and receive stock in accordance with company requirements
- Perform program execution and merchandising of product
- Perform retail floor maintenance
- Provide customer service to meet customer needs
- Increase store sales by actively promoting products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements

Job Summary
Grocery Department Managers are responsible for providing excellent customer service, monitoring category management, overseeing regular food orders, inventory management and more. Ideal candidates will have grocery retail experience and strong communication and customer service skills.

Objective: Providing excellent customer service while monitoring category management, placing regular food orders, performing regular inventory counts and more!

- Overseeing regular food items
- Set up displays
- Demo and actively sell food items
- Reduce and maintain overstocks, obsoletes and write offs
- Maintain clean and organized sections
- Conduct monthly inventories
- Responsible for educating and directing staff on grocery maintenance procedures
- Direct grocery associates
Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Purchasing Manager
