Nuts to You PB & J Bars
Yield: 12 bars
INGREDIENTS

1½ cups quick oats

¼ cup whole wheat or all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp sea salt

⅔ cup Nuts to You Peanut Butter Crunchy

⅓ cup maple syrup
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 cup (250ml) jam of choice
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350⁰F. Line an 8”x8” square baking pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together oats, flour, baking powder, salt, peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix just until a dough forms.

Set aside ½ cup of the dough for crumbling on top. Press the remaining dough evenly into the bottom of the baking pan. You can wet your hands to avoid sticking.

Spread jam over the oat base and create an even layer with the back of a spoon. Then crumble the remaining peanut butter mixture over top.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the top of the mixture is golden brown.

Let cool completely before slicing into bars, or chill before slicing.
