Perhaps the most recent threat to critical levels of this coenzyme is associated with statin use; statins inhibit the production of both cholesterol and coenzyme Q10, as they are both synthesized from the same substance, mevalonate.

Directions
Adults: For cardiovascular health and as an antioxidant: Take 1-3 capsules daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
For migraine prophylaxis: Take 2-3 capsules daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Duration of use: Use for a minimum of 3 months to see beneficial effects.

Cautions and warnings
