Ingredients

Each tablet contains:  
Melatonin (non-animal source) 10 mg
L-theanine 200 mg
5-HTP (Griffonia simplicifolia) (seed)  15 mg
Valerian extract 4:1 (Valeriana officinalis) (root and rhizome) 20 mg
  (standardized to 0.25% valerenic acid)
  (equivalent to 80 mg dried root and rhizome)
 
Passionflower extract 4:1 (Passiflora incarnata) (herb top) 20 mg
Hops extract 5:1 (Humulus lupulus) (strobile) 10 mg

 

 

Dosage

Adult dose: All uses except jet lag: 1 tablet with food once daily, at or before bedtime, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Jet lag: 1 tablet with food once daily at bedtime, while traveling, and at destination until adapted to the new daily pattern, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

All uses: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks

Cautions

All uses: Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. All uses except jet lag: Consult your health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia). All use: Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking steroids or blood thinners, medications for seizure or blood pressure, or medications to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state, or to increase sedation. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking carbidopa or drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity. These may include, but are not limited to, L-tryptophan, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John’s wort, antidepressants, pain killer medications, over-the-counter cough and cold medications containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea medications, and anti-migraine medications. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver, or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, diabetes, low blood sugar, migraine, depression, and/or related diseases. Stop use and consult a health care practitioner if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcers, abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain or if you experience skin changes. Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea. May cause extended drowsiness. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have scleroderma. Some people may experience diarrhea, vomiting, and/or abdominal pain. Keep out of the reach of children.
